Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Legisletter ("the Service"), including our website located at legisletter.org, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Description of the Service

Legisletter is a grassroots campaigning app that uses AI to help individuals and NGOs influence lawmaking. The service provides:

  • Letter Generation
  • AI Advocacy Assistant
  • Political Targeting
  • Legislative Analysis
  • Custom Landing Pages
  • Advocate Call Integration
  • Meta Ads Targeting
  • Campaign Tracking

Additional features may be in development or upcoming.

Use of the Service and User Responsibilities

Legisletter provides a platform to facilitate personalized outreach to legislators. You are responsible for the content of the letters and other communications sent through the Service, and you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The following terms also apply to your use of our service:

  • Compliance with Laws: You must use Legisletter in compliance with all local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Content Guidelines: Any content you create, upload, or share through Legisletter must be lawful, respectful, and must not be offensive or otherwise objectionable.
  • Access Restrictions: You may not access or use Legisletter in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks.
  • Account Responsibilities: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in suspension or termination of your access to Legisletter.

Payment Information

When you subscribe to Legisletter's service on a 3-month or 12-month basis, your payment details are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Legisletter does not store or process your credit card information directly. All subscriptions are subject to the terms and conditions set forth by Stripe, and we encourage you to refer to Stripe's privacy policy for more information about how they handle your payment information.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

3-Month Subscriptions

3-Month subscriptions are billed in a single upfront payment. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but we do not offer refunds for partial months.

Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are billed in a single upfront payment for the entire year. If you choose to cancel your annual subscription, you will continue to have access to Legisletter for the remainder of the year for which you've paid, but you will not receive a refund for unused months.

Renewal Notifications

For annual subscriptions, we will notify you by email at least 30 days prior to the renewal date to remind you of upcoming charges.

Changes and Renewals

All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled.

Please note that it's still your responsibility to manage your subscription according to your preferences, but for annual subscriptions, we will provide a reminder to help you stay informed.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, located at https://legisletter.org/privacy, which governs the use of personal information on the Service.

Changes to the Terms

Legisletter reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and by continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by the modified Terms.

Security

Legisletter includes high-grade security measures for all users' data. We make no warranty as to the absolute security of the Service, and you use the Service at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

Legisletter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Legisletter regarding the use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements between you and Legisletter regarding the use of the Service.
